This amazing creation – The Lymphatic System and A Detox

What is The Lymphatic System:

The Lymphatic System is part of the vascular system and an important part of the immune system, comprising a large network of lymphatic vessels that carry a clear fluid called lymph (from Latin, lympha meaning “water[1]) directionally towards the heart.

The other main function is that of defense in the immune system. Lymph is very similar to blood plasma: it contains lymphocytes. It also contains waste products and cellular debris together with bacteria and proteins. Associated organs composed of lymphoid tissue are the sites of lymphocyte production. Lymphocytes are concentrated in the lymph nodes. The spleen and the thymus are also lymphoid organs of the immune system. The tonsils are lymphoid organs that are also associated with the digestive system. Lymphoid tissues contain lymphocytes, and also contain other types of cells for support.[3] The system also includes all the structures dedicated to the circulation and production of lymphocytes (the primary cellular component of lymph), which also includes the bone marrow, and the lymphoid tissue associated with the digestive system.

What can I take to help…

Answer:  Steep Me has developed a new self help tea blend to help your Lymphatic System and alleviate the many symptoms that comes from a slow lymphatic process.  This Lymphatic Cleanse will get your system back into Tip Top shape and have it working effectively! We developed a great tea regimen that is as simple as a single 12 oz cup of tea daily for 60 days. We recommend that this Steep Me Lymphatic Cleanse be done once a year.  We have several of our customers and our employees just complete the 60 Day cleanse and here are the results.

With the start of the cleanse, Jerry and I did not make many changes to our diet or lifestyle.  We are in our late 40’s. We do perform some sort of heart raising physical activity 5-7 times a week and we do eat at home 90% of the time.  We focus on a high protein – lower carb diet and usually do AVOID sugar, and literally zero fake or refined sugars.  We are naughty once and awhile with the sweets but it isn’t something we do daily.  We do consume approx 3-4 teas daily some with caffeine and some without and they usually all contain some type of recovery herbs. We also are diligent to get in all of our water daily.  We chose to make our Lymphatic Cleanse tea right away in the morning and we drank it on an empty stomach.  We did 12 oz of boiling hot water with 2 tsp of tea and steeped it for 15 minutes, but a longer steep time can certainly be used!  The tea has a great earthy blend and is easy to drink. Perfect way to start our mornings. After our morning teas, we would continue the day with our normal eating habits.

We did have one of our employees do the same cleanse to see the variations she experienced different from ours, she is a senior in high school.  We did have other staff members attempt the cleanse, they were unable to make it – more on why later!  We wanted to include a different age bracket to see if there was significant differences in what we all went thru and if it was based on age.  Our gal suffers from horrible sporadic migraines and has a difficult monthly Cycle with a headache and unmanageable cramps. She does not have a great diet – no fruits – veggies or good quality protein. She will consume large amounts of sugar, take out food, candy bars, AND hot chocolate drinks. Outwardly she looks amazing, slim and fit, but really a “pop tart” on the inside — her words (ha ha).  She does no physical activity but looks like she is in great shape.  She also did the tea daily in the morning before she went to school. The only part of her day where she had consistency and knew she would be home. After that her schedule was all over the place like any typical teenager, her results will follow!!!

We talk to many of our customers about the importance of consistency with any sort of self help teas and this tea is no exception.  To ensure that you are getting the most out of this blend it needs to be done daily at the same time everyday. So please choose that time wisely and make time for yourself to take your tea.  This cleanse is legit, it will make you uncomfortable at times, make you doubt finishing, but you can do it…stick to it and the end is worth it!

We started the tea at the beginning of January.  When we look back, the most difficult time we had was our bodies struggling with the changes from the healthy herbs during  the first three weeks of the cleanse. This struggle when starting a new self help tea is hard and uncomfortable but it is important to make sure you follow thru. The biggest struggle for us and the others that tested it was sticking with it.  Sometimes the feelings tied to this detox are a bit uncomfortable but stay with it ~~ It will be worth it!

For Jerry and I, the first thing we noticed is that we definitely added something a little bit different to our daily routine.  The tea was great to taste and easy to drink and for me the warm cup of tea on an empty stomach really warmed me up.  The results the first three weeks for me were pretty simple but I really struggled with my digestive system. It seems I would not be able to trust my bowels to do too much physical activity in the morning.  I usually work out in the AM before getting ready to work..but there were a few times I had to stop what I was doing to come back home to use the restroom or leave a class and run to the bathroom. But, once I went it was not an issue all day…no surprises or sprints to the restroom!!  The most unpredictable time was first thing in the morning…very unusual for me since i have a very predictable digestive system. I did not have any other unusual issues..felt fine and no stomach issues, headaches, body aches and such. I did find that I had great energy and a positive mind set.  I also felt warmer instead of being the cold body I usually am. I seemed to have better circulation after the detox was complete. The biggest physical difference I noticed was that my cellulite in my thighs was definitely reduced..yeah me!

For Jerry he really had a lot more unusual symptoms and completely different from what I experienced.  For Jerry, the biggest item he had was such a noticeable change in was his mood– attitude, his lIbido and suffered with cold/flu symptoms.  He felt a little sore throat, nasal concerns and a bit of a headache and fatigue, but was never actually sick.  The most obvious and unusual symptom he exhibited was a defined difference in his mood/attitude.  He felt that the smallest thing would set him off and really no patience for anyone. With his cold and flu symptoms it was more annoying that anything. The fatigue and lack of recovery from physical fitness he felt was more concerning.  He does spend time lifting and running/bike riding and when you feel fatigue it becomes very obvious in your performance. He did not feel too many changes in his digestive system. He felt this was still something that was normal for him.

For our gal who did the detox with us her biggest change was she only had a single migraine throughout the entire 60 days.  She felt that normally 6-7 would have occured. She also felt that she was making better choices in her diet. The sweet stuff she really found gratification in was not as appealing as it was before.  And as a teenage girl she was super excited about that! She also had some relief in her menstrual cycles. She normally has heavy cramping and other PMS symptoms and she did state that these items were better and more manageable for her.

After the first 21 days the symptoms we experienced certainly went away.  We felt like we normally would feel with our daily routine. We cannot stress the importance of getting to the 60 days even thru the tough symptoms.  At the end of the detox, I felt great. I felt like I went thru something that was really beneficial for my body – perhaps the feeling was that I felt lighter.   I only changed my body weight by 2 pounds but I am still most excited about the changes to my legs for the cellulite.

For Jerry, After the initial unusual symptoms for him he really started to do well with his fitness.  During the first 21 day, his recovery after a workout  would take about four days which is very unusual for him. As the detox progressed and his body became used to the herbs and the symptoms settled down Jerry did achieve four different personal records on the Peloton and his lifts were great with many improvements.  His recovery went back to a single day as opposed to the four days he was experiencing. Jerry did weigh himself at the end of the detox and he was six pounds lighter. We do not feel this is a weight loss tea but for Jerry he looked slimmer in his body.

Why:  There are many herbs available to help the body target and detox the Lymphatic System.  We work very hard to find the finest ingredients to put into our blends. This blend is NOT safe for pregnancy and breastfeeding moms.
