Blender’s Notes Testosterone Boost Capsules ~~ GRAS Certified Ingredients:
Steep Me Self-Help combinations are a wonderful way to gain health benefits beyond the standard tea leaf. This combination of herbs helps the body boost its own testosterone levels. This tea has been used with both men and women because both genders can suffer from ailments of low testosterone, and Testosterone is a vital hormone that participates in both male and female sexual health. Women can suffer the effects of Low Testosterone, especially when their cholesterol gets too low. For women, testosterone plays a key role in libido, energy levels, production of DHEA, and maintaining physical strength. For men, testosterone is responsible for sexual development, muscle growth and bone density, and sex drive. It is also known to stimulate red blood cell production.
What is Testosterone: Testosterone is a hormone that your gonads (sex organs) produce. More specifically, the testicles in people assigned male at birth (AMAB) and the ovaries in people assigned female at birth (AFAB) produce testosterone. Your adrenal glands also produce the hormone dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), which your body transforms into testosterone and estrogen. Testosterone is the main androgen, meaning it stimulates the development of male characteristics. Levels of testosterone are naturally much higher in people AMAB than in people AFAB. Your body controls testosterone levels in your blood. Levels are usually highest in the morning and decline during the day. Your hypothalamus and pituitary gland control the amount of testosterone your gonads (testicles or ovaries) produce and release. Your hypothalamus releases gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), which triggers your pituitary gland to release luteinizing hormone (LH). LH then travels to your gonads and stimulates the production and release of testosterone. (LH more often stimulates the production of estrogen and progesterone in the ovaries.) As testosterone in your blood increases, it suppresses the production of gonadotropin-releasing hormone, which helps maintain normal testosterone levels. If any of these organs are not working normally, or if there are genetic abnormalities, that can cause abnormal testosterone levels. Lower-than-normal testosterone levels typically only cause symptoms in people assigned male at birth. This condition is called male hypogonadism. There are two main types of male hypogonadism: classical (congenital or acquired) and late onset. Classical male hypogonadism is when low testosterone levels are due to an underlying medical condition or damage to your testicles, pituitary gland, or hypothalamus. For example, a person can be born with a condition (congenital) that leads to low testosterone, such as Klinefelter syndrome or Kallmann syndrome, or they can develop it later (acquired), such as something that changes the normal functioning of their testicles, hypothalamus, or pituitary gland. Late-onset male hypogonadism happens when the decline in testosterone levels is linked to general aging and/or age-related conditions, particularly obesity and Type 2 diabetes. Late-onset hypogonadism affects about 2% of men over the age of 40. Testosterone levels in adults assigned male at birth (AMAB) naturally decline as they age. However, adults assigned male at birth (AMAB can experience even lower testosterone levels, which can lead to the following: Unexplained reduction in muscle mass and an increase in body fat. Loss of body hair. Depressed mood. Erectile dysfunction. Low sex drive. Osteoporosis (weak bones). Difficulty with concentration and memory. In this blend, we based it on Roasted Yerba Mate. Yerba Mate contains antioxidants, which may help reduce oxidative stress associated with decreased testosterone levels. Next, we added our Steep Me Medicinal Mushrooms. Steep Me Medicinal Mushrooms have been traditionally used in Chinese medicine and are gaining attention for their potential effects on testosterone levels. In Men, mushrooms can stimulate testosterone production, which may lead to increased energy, improved sexual health, and enhanced mood, and can improve sperm count and motility. In women, mushrooms can help modulate estrogen levels, potentially influencing sexual desire and reproductive health, and mushrooms might enhance blood flow by relaxing and widening blood vessels, which can also benefit sexual health. Ginseng Root can raise testosterone levels due to differences in how androgen receptors function in men and women. Ginseng is also known for its anti-inflammatory properties and its ability to reduce oxidative stress, which can help restore normal function to blood vessels and tissues essential for hormone production. Rehmannia Root is also used because it can help increase testosterone levels in males and estradiol levels in females. This makes it a popular choice for those looking to support their endocrine system and overall hormonal balance. Additionally, it is often used to promote healthy aging and improve sexual function in both men and women. Next, we added Ashwagandha. Ashwagandha is known for its adaptogenic properties, which helps the body manage stress. Lower stress levels can lead to reduced cortisol, a hormone that can negatively impact testosterone production. This is primarily due to its ability to reduce cortisol. This stress hormone can inhibit testosterone production in Men, and taking ashwagandha can lead to significant increases in testosterone levels and improvements in sperm quality and fertility. In Women, ashwagandha is known to help balance hormones by supporting the endocrine system and regulating estrogen and other hormones, contributing to overall hormonal balance. This adaptogenic property means it can help reduce stress and improve overall well-being without causing masculinizing effects.
We then added Fenugreek. Fenugreek has the potential to increase testosterone levels in both men and women naturally. This herb contains compounds called furostanolic saponins, which boost testosterone. For men, it can improve testosterone levels and alleviate symptoms related to low testosterone, such as low libido. In women, fenugreek may balance hormone levels and improve sexual health. Tribulus because it can help boost testosterone levels and improve sexual health. Tribulus terrestris may help increase testosterone levels by stimulating luteinizing hormone (LH) production, which in turn can boost testosterone. Tribulus terrestris can improve sexual function and libido in both men and women due to its potential effects on hormone levels and can help to enhance athletic performance. Ginger root can help both Men and Women with Testosterone. Improved circulation can help deliver nutrients and hormones. Antioxidant properties can reduce oxidative damage, which is beneficial for hormone production, and can boost luteinizing hormone, which plays a key role in stimulating testosterone production. Mucuna Pruriens was added because it contains L-DOPA, a precursor to dopamine. Increased dopamine levels can positively influence testosterone production by stimulating the release of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) in the hypothalamus. For Men, Mucuna pruriens may improve testosterone levels and sperm quality in infertile men and can enhance sexual performance and testicle size. Epimedium contains chemicals that might help increase blood flow and improve sexual function, which is why it is often used as an aphrodisiac. It may help improve bone health and prevent bone loss, and it contains phytoestrogens, which act like estrogen and may be beneficial for hormone replacement therapy. It may have properties that help combat aging, and there is evidence that it may help suppress stress and anxiety.
We then added Fo-Ti Root. Fo-Ti Root was included because it can influence hormonal balance and overall vitality. Fo-Ti is thought to boost sexual vigor and fertility and, in men, may help with erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation by increasing nitric oxide levels, which helps widen blood vessels. For Men or Women experiencing hair thinning due to elevated testosterone levels (such as in conditions like PCOS), Fo-Ti might help improve hair growth. In Men and Women, it is used as a longevity tonic to improve energy levels and reduce signs of aging. Muira Pauma, also known as “potency wood,” is often touted for its potential benefits related to sexual health and vitality. For Men, Muira Pauma may help increase libido and improve erectile function by enhancing blood flow and relaxing smooth muscles. It contains compounds that interact with hormone receptors, but this does not equate to a significant boost in testosterone. Muira Pauma has been reported to improve sexual desire and satisfaction in women, particularly those experiencing sexual dysfunction. Maca root, a plant native to Peru, is known for its impressive health benefits. It can enhance sexual function in both men and women; improve sperm quality and boost male fertility; help balance hormones, especially after menopause; and boost energy levels and endurance. It has natural antidepressant properties, helping to boost mood and reduce anxiety. Maca is known to enhance brain function and memory and can help in maintaining cardiovascular health by lowering blood pressure. Finally, we added Sarsaparilla. Sarsaparilla contains compounds called saponins, which can mimic the effects of hormones such as estrogen and testosterone in the body. For both men and women, sarsaparilla is sometimes used to enhance libido and fertility, and it may help improve blood flow and balance hormones, which can be beneficial for sexual health and boost testosterone.
