Blender’s Notes Hashimoto WIP:
Steep Me Self Help Tea combinations are a great way to get health benefits outside of the standard tea leaf. The blends in our Work in Progress section are still in their testing phases….We would love for you to try the blends and give us feedback on how you felt they were working. All of our teas go thru a thorough testing phase to ensure we are finding success in the combination. Once we have 100 people or more testing the blend and we are starting to see the same results in 60 or more of the testers…these blends will move to the Self Help section.
This blend has been successful already but want to make sure we see enough results to ensure it positive effects. Please let us know how you are feeling or if you have any testing done – your results – we would love to keep track for our other clients. Please send all updates to [email protected] Thanks for trying.
The blend was built to help balance your thyroid from the inflammation and reduction in hormones it is producing. We started this blend out with heavy anti inflammation herbs. Nettles, Slippery Elm Bark, Borage and Holy Basil are added to help Reduce Inflammation which is a protective mechanism by which the body heals itself and protects against infections. But inflammation for an extended period can inflict significant harm. Ashwagandha is a popular apoptogenic herb that has apoptogenic and anti-stress properties, along with being neuroprotective, anti-inflammatory, anti-arthritic, and analgesic a normalizing thyroid hormone level. Turmeric has been shown to have anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antibacterial, and antiviral activity, all of which can provide benefits to those suffering from Hashimoto’s-related symptoms. It is great for detoxifying various metals and toxins, too. We added milk thistle for promoting a healthy liver, and it can be helpful for those who have liver damage related to an autoimmune disorder. And finally, we added white ginseng. Hashimoto suffers tend to have weak adrenals, which frequently is caused by chronic stress. Ginseng does a wonderful job of helping the person adapt with stress, and it also helps to boost the immune system. Most people can take this supplement long term, if necessary, which is a good thing, as frequently it will take at least a few months to fully recover from severe adrenal problems.

Recommended Use
Hi and thank you for choosing Steep Me a Cup of Tea.
I wanted to give a little use information on the tea you chose.
A serving size is considered 2-3 teaspoons in 12-18 ounces of water, this tea likes 200+ degrees for 10 minutes. We do not spray flavorings on our teas, so time is crucial as we are using wild crafted/organic teas and herbs. Once the 10 minutes is up, the tea likes to stay in your “bath” of choice and continue soaking, start drinking me and keeping adding water. Once my 10 minutes in hot water is up, feel free to pour me over ice, leave me in the water and keep adding them cold water as I will make more than cup.
The Hashimoto Tea was built with some green yerba mate tea, so it is not caffeine free. We recommend that you drink it consistently – so daily is best. The tea can be drinking all day but, probably not before bed since it may keep you awake!
Thanks for supporting Steep Me a Cup of Tea!!!
