Blender’s Notes Milk-In-It ~ Breastfeeding Capsules:
Steep Me Self Help combinations are a fantastic way to get health benefits outside of the standard tea leaf. This combination of herbs was built to help the body work more efficiently to ensure the proper amount of milk supply. There can be many reasons why milk production can lower, and it can be tied to starting of the menstrual cycle, adding in birth control or the obvious one of stress. The herbs we added to this blend will help address these substantial chances. We used our most popular caffeine free Chai to ensure we have a great taste not like other blends on the market. This blend already has fennel included. Fennel is a sweet, black licorice tasting herb considered indigenous to the shores of the Mediterranean Sea but is noticeably light in this recipe. Fennel has been used to treat a variety of health conditions, including digestive problems and menstrual issues and milk production. We then enhanced the blend with Fenugreek. This herb is used most often to increase breast milk supply. This herb is native to the Mediterranean and Asia, this herb is known for having a maple syrup smell and bitter taste. Next, we included Milk Thistle. Milk Thistle has been used for many years to also help increase milk production. This blend is completely caffeine free and can be used all day or before bed. A very enjoyable blend we have had since 2010 with impressive results.
In addition to the above ingredients, we also included Chamomile because it is considered a galactagogue, which may help increase breast milk production. Chamomile is known for its calming properties and can help soothe an upset stomach. It can help alleviate various gastrointestinal issues such as indigestion, nausea, and acid reflux. Chamomile contains compounds that reduce inflammation, which can help with conditions like arthritis and muscle spasms. Drinking chamomile tea may help reduce menstrual cramps and discomfort. Red Raspberry leaf was added to help promote uterine health and milk production due to its nutrients like iron, calcium, magnesium, and vitamins B, C, and E, which can be beneficial during breastfeeding. Ginger was added and it may help treat digestive problems, boost immunity, and reduce allergy symptoms. It used as a galactagogue (a substance that promotes lactation) plus it can aid in digestion, reducing nausea, and having anti-inflammatory properties. Ginger contains gingerol, which has powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. This can help reduce oxidative stress and inflammation in the body. Ginger is well-known for its ability to alleviate nausea, including morning sickness during pregnancy and nausea caused by chemotherapy. It promotes efficient digestion by speeding up the emptying of the stomach, which can help with bloating, gas, and indigestion. Next, we added in Nettles. Nettles are packed with vitamins A, C, K, and B, as well as minerals like calcium, iron, and magnesium. These nutrients can be beneficial for overall health. Nettle can help increase milk production by supporting prolactin levels, the hormone responsible for milk production.
Red Clover was added because it can be beneficial due to its rich vitamin and mineral content, which may help replenish nutrients lost during pregnancy and lactation. Red Clover belongs to the legume family, and contains isoflavones, which can help improve bone mineral density and may help maintain good cholesterol levels and improve overall heart health. We also added in Peppercorns. Peppercorns offer a variety of health benefits due to their active compound, Piperine. Peppercorns are high in antioxidants, which help combat free radicals and prevent cell damage. Piperine has been shown to reduce inflammation, which can help manage conditions like arthritis and heart disease. Piperine may improve brain function and potentially benefit conditions like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease. Peppercorns stimulates the stomach to produce more hydrochloric acid, which aids in digestion and helps prevent digestive issues like bloating and gas. Piperine can enhance the absorption of essential nutrients, such as vitamins and minerals, making your diet more effective. Finally, we included Cloves. Cloves are rich content of antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. Cloves have insulin-like effects that help in regulating blood sugar levels. They reduce inflammation, aid the digestive process, and can help alleviate issues like bloating and indigestion. They can kill harmful bacteria, making them useful for oral health and preventing infections. The antioxidants in cloves help protect the liver from oxidative stress. Cloves boost the production of white blood cells, enhancing the immune system.
