Blender’s Notes Alcohol – Drug Detox WIP:
Steep Me Self Help Tea combinations are a great way to get health benefits outside of the standard tea leaf. The blends in our Work in Progress section are still in their testing phases….We would love for you to try the blends and give us feedback on how you felt they were working. All of our teas go thru a thorough testing phase to ensure we are finding success in the combination. Once we have 100 people or more testing the blend and we are starting to see the same results in 60 or more of the testers…these blends will move to the Self Help section.
The blend was built to help the body detox Alcohol and Drug use and the symptoms that can occur thru detox. Many of our current testers are using a CBD product with a small trace of THC and want to ensure that either thru a job change or a medication change want to make sure that anything residual is out of the system. We added the following herbs to our blend to help with the symptoms of cravings, anxiety, and other digestive issues. We added Ginseng because it boosts circulation, sooths the nervous system and lowers cravings to soothe the torments of the mind. Licorice Root has soothing effects that will calm down nerves, but it also works wonders against nausea caused by the withdrawal and various stomach issues and their symptoms. Catnip is a gentle relaxant that can support the nervous and digestive systems. It has an uplifting quality that can ease depressive moods. Cayenne Pepper can help in preventing alcohol craving, while improving your appetite. It can also be used to ease nausea and headaches you face during withdrawal. Cayenne pepper could lessen the alcohol craving while keeping your appetite intact. Aside from that, the capsaicin in cayenne pepper will soothe headaches and nausea, primary symptoms of this condition. Because of this, cayenne peppers make some of the best home remedies for alcohol withdrawal. Dandelion is a natural detoxification herb that helps eliminate toxins from the body, thereby lowering the symptoms experienced during alcohol withdrawal. It also eases the cravings and uplifts the moods. Dandelion is one of the most potent home remedies for alcohol withdrawal thanks to the fact that it targets a wide array of the symptoms associated with this condition. One amazing element of this herb is its ability to help repair liver tissue, which often gets damaged due to excessive alcohol consumption. We added Goldenseal has strong anti-inflammatory properties to help the brain recover addition. Kava Kava is a potent anti-anxiety herb, mild sedative, skeletal muscle relaxant, hypnotic, mild analgesic, and a local anesthetic to mucous membranes. Kava is safe and non-addictive, so it is beneficial to addicts that suffer from anxiety, nervous tension, restlessness, sleeplessness, and depression. But be mindful if you are still drinking – it can cause excessive drowsiness. Milk Thistle can help eliminate the toxins accumulated in the body due to excessive alcohol intake and prevents the liver from absorbing the toxins while easing the symptoms your face during alcohol withdrawal. Milk thistle is one herb for almost all addictions. Since most drugs and alcohols are processed in the liver, milk thistle is a logical choice as it supports the liver. It helps liver function and supports the gall bladder. Passionflower can help with stomach upsets and nausea experienced and easing the anxiety and tension.
This blend has been successful already but want to make sure we see enough results to ensure it positive effects. Recommended Use
Hi and thank you for choosing Steep Me a Cup of Tea.
I wanted to give a little use information on the tea you chose.
A serving size is considered 2-3 teaspoons in 12-18 ounces of water, this tea likes 200+ degrees for 10-15 minutes. We don’t spray flavorings on our teas, so time is crucial as we are using wild crafted/organic teas and herbs. Once the 10 minutes is up, the tea likes to stay in your “bath” of choice and continue soaking, start drinking me and keeping adding water. Once my 10 minutes in hot water is up, feel free to pour me over ice, leave me in the water and keep adding them cold water as I will make more than cup.
The Alcohol and Drug Detox was built to drink as much as you need to flush your system. One important tidbit…be sure to drink lots and lots of water. You need to stay up on your hydration to ensure that the charcoal does not rob your body of nutrition! We usually have people make 2 fresh cups a day until the ounce is gone depending on how quickly you need to clean up your system.
Thanks for supporting Steep Me a Cup of Tea!!!
