Blender’s Notes Hypothalamus and Endocrine Support – WIP:
Steep Me Self Help Tea combinations are a great way to get health benefits outside of the standard tea leaf. The blends in our Work in Progress section are still in their testing phases…. We would love for you to try the blends and give us feedback on how you felt they were working. All of our teas go thru a thorough testing phase to ensure we are finding success in the combination. Once we have 100 people or more testing the blend and we are starting to see the same results in 60 or more of the testers…these blends will move to the Self-Help section.
This blend was built to help support your Hypothalamus and the rest of the Endocrine System to provide balance in the body. The Hypothalamus is an especially important gland that is in the forebrain below the thalamus which acts as your body’s smart control coordinating center. Its main function is to keep your body in a stable state called homeostasis. It does its job by directly influencing your autonomic nervous system or by managing hormones and the activity of the pituitary gland, controlling body temperature, thirst, hunger, and other homeostatic systems, and involved in sleep and emotional activity. It also works by releasing hormones that direct other hormones or other glands to manage other bodily functions like sleep, mood, muscle and bone growth and sexual drive. Many conditions can affect your hypothalamus, causing a wide range of health problems. In this blend we added Ashwagandha because it is highly revered for its anti-inflammatory, regenerative, and restorative properties. It can produce powerful effects on the brain. Studies have also demonstrated that the regular use of Ashwagandha might improve your memory, attention span, and information processing, thus enhancing your academic performance and workplace productivity. It may also reduce your reaction time by boosting the brain’s activities. This suggests that Ashwagandha would help you make quick decisions and act swiftly in emergencies by supporting the activities of the brain and hypothalamus. We added Bilberry because it is laden with essential vitamins and minerals that could protect your hypothalamus from harmful free radicals, toxins, aging, and much more. Bilberry is one of the best herbs for the hypothalamus, especially for those at elevated risk of Alzheimer’s. This herb could reduce or slow down the brain’s age-related wear and tear, thus preserving your memory and other cognitive functions even during older age. Vitamin C content of Bilberry would minimize inflammation and oxidative damage to the brain cells and restore the healthy functioning of the hypothalamus. Bladder Wack because it contains elevated levels of iodine, a trace element that supports thyroid health by producing the thyroid hormones triiodothyronine (T3) and thyroxine (T4). These hormones help regulate your metabolism and support proper growth and neurological development. It is also rich in antioxidants, such as phlorotannins, fucoxanthin, alginic acid, fucoidans, and vitamins A and C. Phlorotannins and fucoxanthin are known for their high antioxidant activity and ability to scavenge free radicals. Rhodiola because it has been shown to reduce brain fog or mental fatigue after working for several hours at a stretch. It may also boost brain functions and moods and increase your mental and physical stamina. Rhodiola Rosea is beneficial for patients who suffer from depression and burnout due to emotional, physical, and motivational decline due to chronic occupational stress. Rhodiola Rosea might support the efficiency of the hypothalamus to perform tasks that require greater effort in terms of attention, focus, and problem-solving skills without creating a sense of exhaustion.
With these herbs we added Eucommia Bark because it is considered one of the best herbs for the hypothalamus. It possesses powerful therapeutic and preventive potential, which can help to protect the hypothalamus against degenerative changes linked to aging. Eucommia bark might also improve your memory and learning skills. It is believed to work by producing a neuroprotective effect on the brain. It would inhibit the cognitive decline of the brain, particularly the hypothalamus, thus reducing your risk of neurodegenerative diseases like dementia, Alzheimer’s, and Parkinson’s. Goldenrod because it has been used to combat inflammation. Holy Basil is considered a tonic for the body, mind, and spirit. It acts as an adaptogen. An adaptogen is a natural substance that helps your body adapt to stress and promotes mental balance. Parsley is loaded with antioxidants which have found the beneficial impacts of flavonoids in keeping the risks of chronic diseases in control. Bacopa contains saponin compounds such as bacosides and bacopasides. These compounds may enhance cognition, learning, and memory. They may also inhibit inflammation in the brain. Chaste Tree was used because it has natural ways you can strengthen and tone your body’s systems. It can positively affect hormonal health issues appears to be derived from dopaminergic compounds present in the herb. While it does not supply hormones to the body, it does act directly on the hypothalamus and pituitary glands. And finally, we added Schisandra Berry is a potent free radical scavenger, a characteristic that may explain the hepatoprotective effects observed with this botanical. The fruit is said to tonify and strengthen the hypothalamus, pituitary gland, ovaries, and adrenals. its potential uses as an adaptogen, primarily to enhance concentration and increase endurance. Our guests have used this in conjunction with our other blends. We recommend that you take a capsule a day for best results.
