Blenders Notes Lenten Teas:
~We want to take the time and reflect on the purpose of the Lenten season which is to set aside time for reflection on Jesus Christ—to consider his suffering and his sacrifice, his life, death, burial, and resurrection. The last couple of years we have been talking about building a biblically minded offering for our Lenten season. During 6am Monday prayer services at Northview church in Fargo, starting October our Father began talking to our hearts this year was the year. Time has come that our talking stopped and his started followed by obedience from our hearts. There are no comparable ideas to know if we did it “right.” Every ingredient but one, African red rooibos is biblically placed.
~Our ingredient list will include a respective bible verse beside each for your own personal study if desired. We chose the names of the teas we hope respectfully frame the latitude with which our father gave his only son, our brother, to die for our sins. Many interpretations can be presented of course as opinions are variable, as much as we love the birth of Jesus, the resurrection is a true miracle and the guarantee of our lives forward in imperfect mortal sin and forgiveness. It is no secret, and it is not political, our world is broken.
~God explained to us that healing begins in individual hearts, which then spreads throughout the home, into your neighborhood, then community, county to state to country to the world. We as a family and a business can warm one person’s heart this Lenten season, if we get one it is one more and we will take that healing every day. We have never needed unity more than now, we put boot to ass as needed, defend, and stand up for our convictions, but know in our hearts our neighbors are not our enemy, we stand side by side trusting each other again, we can make peace again. We hope this simple symbol of tea can inspire.
