Blender’s Notes Uterine Health ~ Pregnancy Nutrition:
Steep Me Self Help Tea combinations are a fantastic way to get health benefits outside of the standard tea leaf. This combination of herbs helps to ensure you have a healthy uterus. This blend works for all ages from teenage ladies to post-menopausal women. This blend is great for our pregnant and new moms! We wat to get you nourishing herbs to help support you and the baby during pregnancy. We based this blend on Freeze Dried Raspberries and Blueberries giving it a great fruity flavor!
In this blend we started out with Raspberry Leaf. Raspberry Leaf contains alkaloid fragrine, which can help strengthen the uterus as well as the pelvic area. It can also help ease menstrual discomfort, improve reproductive health, balance hormones and may prevent miscarriage by strengthening and toning the uterine wall. Because the uterus needs a lot of vitamins and minerals to function properly, red raspberry leaf tea has all of them. Raspberry Leaf is commonly used during pregnancy, and studies show that it might not only improve the outcome, but it reduces the possibility of medical intervention. Although it is not technically a pain-reliever, the leaves have helped a myriad of women in labor, those dealing with PMS, premenstrual bloating, heavy period flows, and endometriosis. Next, we added Nettle Leaf. Nettle is one of the greatest multi vitamins which contains minerals important to pregnancy plus it can assist in helping with nausea, bloating and constipation. Nettle leaves are a storehouse of nutrition, with high iron and calcium contents, as well as an excellent source of folic acid, an essential nutrient during pregnancy. Because nettle also supports the vascular system, it can prevent varicose veins and hemorrhoids. Nettles are deeply nourishing to all body types, especially useful to the womb pre- and post-cycle, for fertility, for postpartum, after birth, and in the case of a miscarriage. Nettle may also support kidney health, may clear urinary tract infections and is incredibly effective at reducing seasonal allergies. Also, in the blend we added Oat straw. Oat straw provides lots of vitamins and minerals including folate and pantothenic acid and it can help with stress or depression, it does this by nourishing and strengthening your central nervous system. It can also help with maintaining the digestive system. Oat Straw is a nourishing herb that is useful to promote a healthy endocrine system that is accountable for hormone production, more specifically estrogen and progesterone. Plus, it benefits during pregnancy by reducing the risk of varicose veins and strengthening those capillaries, i.e., better blood flow. Capillaries are blood vessels in the body that help transport blood to and from the heart. They directly assist in the transportation of blood to your growing baby. We added Chamomile which has high doses of antioxidants, which can help with sleep, and has anti-inflammatory properties. Chamomile tea is known to have a calming effect and help prevent colds and other illnesses. Chamomile can reduce the symptoms of premenstrual syndrome. Some natural healers suggest drinking chamomile tea can help with endometriosis symptoms. Chrysin, a compound found in chamomile, suppressed the growth of endometrial cells, and can help mend the system. Ginger Root to help relieve nausea and vomiting and may be an effective remedy for morning sickness associated with pregnancy and has been shown to help relieve pain from uterine cramping, which many pregnant women experience in the first trimester. Ginger Root can reduce menstruation-related pain. This suggests ginger could have a similar effect on pain associated with endometriosis. This herb is a rich source of antioxidants, due to the active component, gingerol. And it may also help to strengthen the immune system and lower blood pressure. Lemon Balm which has a minty and fresh taste and can help make you feel relaxed and hydrated. It can help improve mood and brain function. Help reduce insomnia and sooth menstrual cramps. It is a reliable source of antioxidants. We also added Rosehips. are rich in beta-carotene, a precursor to vitamin A. This nutrient is crucial for maintaining optimal eyesight and promoting healthy skin. Rose hips provide a notable supply of vitamin E, an antioxidant that safeguards the body against harm from free radicals, preventing potential damage. Rose hips contain modest quantities of vitamin K, which is vital for both bloods clotting processes and maintaining strong bones. Rose hips serve as a valuable source of B vitamins like thiamine, riboflavin, and niacin. These nutrients play essential roles in energy metabolism, nerve function, and the health of your skin.
Red Clover because it can be considered one of nature’s best vitamin and mineral supplements, as it contains beta-carotene, calcium, vitamin C, a whole spectrum of B vitamins, and essential trace minerals such as magnesium, manganese, zinc, copper, and selenium. Red Clover can prevent and eases constipation which is common during pregnancy. It also strengthens the liver and improves appetite, especially when morning sickness is a problem. And it relieves anxiety. It will also produce abundant breast milk as well as keep mother feeling relaxed and healthy all through pregnancy. Red Clover multivitamins, as it contains calcium, vitamin C, beta-carotene, whole spectrum B vitamins, and essential trace minerals such as magnesium, zinc, copper, selenium, and manganese. Because of Red Clover’s phytoestrogens, it is commonly used by women to support common menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes, mood swings, and night sweats. The isoflavones in Red Clover appear to bind with estrogen receptor sites, preventing certain forms of estrogen such as estradiol and/or excess estrogen from accumulating. Red Clover is often used for fertility, and as a tonic to prepare the uterus for pregnancy. Its signature red flowers look like red blood cells, signaling its key healing powers, which is to purify and mineralize the blood. Studies also demonstrate it to be an effective galactagogue as it stimulates prolactin secretion, therefore increasing milk production. has proven to be one of the most effective fertility herbs for women. It is loaded with nutrients like calcium, minerals, magnesium, vitamins, and proteins. Each of these nutrients plays a special role in assisting female body. Both magnesium and calcium help to promote fertility. Minerals are important to balance the hormonal levels. Protein, on the other hand, helps with overall health while vitamins are simply amazing for the uterus health. In addition, red clover blossoms also aid repairing the scarring or damage in the Fallopian tubes besides repairing “unexplained infertility.” This fertility herb is the best and simply amazing for women over forty.
We also added Dandelion Root. Traditionally used as a gentle digestive bitter to improve the potential discomforts of pregnancy and anytime, dandelion Root can increase digestion and promotes bile to relieve constipation. It is one of the best herbs for cleansing and strengthening the liver, our main detoxifying organ. Dandelion is a diuretic and can help relieve fluid retention. Because of its high potassium content, it does not deplete the body of this important mineral, as other diuretics are known to do. roots are anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antifungal, cholagogue, choleretic, deobstruent, discutient, hepatic, hypnotic, purgative, sedative, alterative, anodyne, antirheumatic root, aperient, astringent, bitter, decongestant, depurative, digestive, diuretic, galactagogue, immune stimulant, laxative, lithotriptic, nutritive, stomachic, and can be used as a tonic. Alfalfa has a ton of benefits for pregnant women and mothers who are breastfeeding their children. Many of those are on a generic level helping the body stay healthy, while others can effectively make your pregnancy and nursing stage better altogether.
