This blend is meant to help with the healing of the Autonomic Nervous System (NAS). The autonomic nervous system is a complex network of cells that controls the body’s internal state. The roasting process removes any bitterness and most of the caffeine, making Hojicha the perfect drink for late afternoons and evenings. Darjeeling Second Flush tea, harvested from May to June, has a dark, amber hue and a strong, full-bodied flavor. It has a fruity taste reminiscent of muscatel grapes.
