Blender’s Notes Choco Pistachio Haze:
A wonderful combination of black teas from Sri Lanka. This combination of teas gives a full and hearty taste in the cup. Black tea can be steeped for a short amount of time or longer to bring out its astringency. Entirely up to you. This combination of Decaf black teas has been paired with lots of pistachios and lots of chocolate chips. We use stevia-based chips to ensure low sugar to really give it a chocolate taste without all the guilt! We enhanced the sweetness with a few toffee bits to make the best dessert! Combines well with a milk of your choice!
This blend of decaf tea is done naturally! In the United States, tea must have 98% of its caffeine removed to be sold as decaf. The CO2 Decaffeination method involves using carbon dioxide in a supercritical state to extract caffeine from tea leaves. This process is considered one of the safest and most effective methods for decaffeinating tea, as it retains the flavor and health benefits of the tea. During this process, CO2 is pressurized and heated, allowing it to act as a solvent that selectively removes caffeine while leaving larger flavor molecules intact.
